WHAT IS LIVABLE WEST COVINA'S PROPOSED ALTERNATIVE INSTEAD OF WHAT SINGPOLI HAS PROPOSED?
Our group, Livable West Covina is not just opposed to Singpoli's development concept for BKK - we have an excellent alternative.
That alternative is a workable solution, which creates a better quality of life in West Covina and this part of the San Gabriel Valley AND provides the city of West Covina with the added revenue they need.
Our proposed solution covers all three tracts of land that make up BKK.
What's commonly referred to as one thing - the BKK landfill is actually three tracts of land. Those tracts of land are labeled on the following map as LAND FOR SALE (outlined in blue), CLASS III LANDFILL (outlined in black), and CLASS I LANDFILL (outlined in red).
